I Am Parisian

Content : 102 portraits of Parisian women in all their diversity, born from 1922 to 2022.

Marie Louise Nijsing, is a Dutch artist-photographer. She met a hundred Parisian women, each illustrating a year of birth from 1922 to 2022.

Without any prejudice or judgment, it reveals a reality, in all its diversity: social and professional environment, neighborhood, way of life. How not to succumb to these life stories of passionate women, businesswomen, and also convinced women. They are human encounters that have deeply marked the author.

And this led her to one observation: Parisian women have strong personalities that are often committed and deeply attached to Paris.
