My First Imagery Book about Japan

Content : This children’s picture book offers 23 drawings painted in ink by Morgane Boullier. This young artist has followed in Japan for several years the teaching of a Japanese master in “sumi-e”. She introduces into this technique colors: tinted ink (red, yellow, blue) always with parsimony and a great sense of purity.

The words chosen describe a Japan close to nature. Each word is also written in Japanese calligraphy (and translated when necessary). The grace and the poetry of this book will take children and their parents to a dream world of cherry blossoms and brightly colored kimonos.
An imagery book that allows children but also adults to discover Japanese heritage through keywords.

A particular attention is given to the production, in regards to paper and binding.
