About the author: Marie Deligny is an illustrator from Toulouse, France, trained at the École Estienne. She works mainly with gouache, with which she likes to capture simple moments. What she appreciates most is playing with textures, "seeing the brushstrokes that add life and charm to a painting". Her work is akin to meditation.
