Rabbit, Fox and Wild Boar have caught the hunter! The only question is what to do with the trophy... Wild Boar wants to spread butter on his feet so he won't stop slipping, Rabbit wants to sprinkle him with crumbs so the birds will peck at him, and Fox wants to make him lose his way by stuffing his head in a basket. They take turns going to Little Red Riding Hood's house to ask for butter, a cake and her basket... The little girl, not fooled, wonders what's going on and discovers the hunter imprisoned. Insinuating that the wolf is on the prowl, she has him freed on the spot, for without him, wouldn't she still be in the wolf's belly, and the animals in danger? All's well that ends well over a snack.
