About the author: Isabelle Gruson is a French lace maker and instructor based in northern France. She trained at the Kantcentrum in Bruges, an internationally renowned lace museum and centre, where she completed a tutor training programme in bobbin lace. A recognised lace expert, she regularly teaches and gives lectures at various museums, including the Musée de la Dentelle et de la Mode in Calais. She is also the author of several books on bobbin lace.
