Content : Uafas, the last of the Golems, lives alone at the north of Galway. Freed from his master for centuries after having disobeyed him, he lives peacefully in the Irish countryside. For some time though, his soft, limestone stone is eroding. It is time to act if he does not want to die.
With the help of a talkative crow and a mouse suddenly endowed with speech, and on the orders of a doubtful mage, he will go in search of the plant that will make him waterproof. Nevertheless, the modern world is not friendly and his journey will teach him to hate the roads and fear magic hunters. Is the price worth all the sacrifices he will make along the way?

The Last Golem is a poignant novel that makes us reflect on aging, friendship and difference.
The chapters are perfectly cut to make the action and twists livelier. This novel invites readers to reflect on the world around them and in particular the link to others, but it is also a reflection on mourning.
A story that combines action and reflection.
