Content : Kotori is a little girl who loves nature and can communicate with the animals. She knows a lot of things and talks about them well. She is accompanied by a totem animal: Tama, a small pink sparrow in the shape of a ball. In each story, the little girl lives a small personal adventure, discovers a typical place, feels many emotions, and manages to calm her fears and those of animals.

This 4th adventure takes place in the district of Arashiyama, West of Kyoto. There are famous temples there, and an outstanding bamboo forest. Kotori goes there with her dad. She walks in this enchanting environment. The trees rustle and seem to speak to her. The mosses wriggle and Kotori fills up with energy at their contact.
Suddenly, the earth trembles. The bamboos warn the little girl to take shelter. Fortunately, Kotori comes out safe and sound!

Alice Monard moved to Japan with her family at the end of 2020. She used to work as an ecological engineer and a trainer in ecology. She now works as a journalist and redactor for different magazines related to Japan.
