Content : Explore the Mysterious World of Poisonous Flowers.

After the success of Watercolour – Wildflowers, discover a fascinating and essential sequel.
The author returns with a new volume that extends the poetic and botanical universe beloved by readers. Still in watercolour, still featuring wildflowers… but this time, some are as toxic as they are beautiful.

This book is both a painting guide and botanical companion:
- Step-by-step illustrated instructions to paint delicate flowers.
- Practical tips to capture textures, subtle colours, and natural movements.
- Accessible botanical sheets detailing each flower’s beauty, toxicity, and ecological role.
- Guidance for observing safely, painting mindfully, and understanding how these plants can heal… or poison.

Explore over 20 flowers, including Belladonna, Foxglove, Aconite, Euphorbia, and Giant Hogweed, alongside historical insights and simplified scientific explanations: how plants become toxic, their defence mechanisms, and the most dangerous species.
More than a painting book, this is a journey into the mysterious world of poisonous flowers, combining artistic sensitivity, scientific knowledge, and mindful creativity. An essential guide for anyone who wants to paint safely and with awareness.
