Perpetual Calendar - Plants following the four seasons

Content : Each month, text and drawings help to understand the fascinating strategies that plants have developed to adapt to their environment. Plants that can sometimes be observed around the home, which carry a another look at the living world around us.

Directly inspired by the naturalist tradition, the watercolors illustrate precisely and with delicacy the various elements constituting each species: leaves, flowers, stems, bulbs, fruits, seeds...

Short and lively, the introductory chapters explain with simple words the main principles of plant’s biology and the specificities of two original environments: scrubland and maquis.

Rigorous and at the same time accessible, the content was designed by an association recognized for its scientific and popularization skills : The ecologists of Euzière.

Of course, the book also performs its function as a diary (January to December), with two double pages of notes per month and numbered days (but not named, so that the calendar can be sold also the next years).
