Content : Barbara Luel Pecheur was born in Brussels. Active within the urban sketching movement in Belgium, she organizes international workshops and exhibits in festivals focusing on travel diaries. She does watercolour paintings, with her palette brought back from Japan. Her work is uncluttered, poetic, often left unfinished allowing the imagination to wander. Far from painting a catalog or a tourist guide, the traveling artist has decided that the journey begins downstairs from her house. She divides her wandering in four stages: Having fun and stroll around town / Green spaces, breathe / Drink and eat… / No, maybe? And allows readers to discover authentic and tasty neighborhoods by revealing some secrets for their next trip.
