This one was as big as a hippopotamus’s bottom.
"What a great soup we’re going to make!" said the happy owner.

Despite the efforts of the gardener and his wife, the turnip didn’t move…
Then the son and the daughter, the dog, the cat, and the mouse were called one after another,
and boom! crash! finally the turnip came out of the ground.
They made soup with it, but it was so bitter that no one wanted to eat it.
No one? Oh yes! The little mouse did, of course!
