Born in France but raised in Canada, Sophie Kovess-Brun currently lives in Belgium. She works from the benches of the faculty in duo with Erwan Augoyard. After a detour through contemporary art thanks to the support of Agnès b, the duo devoted themselves to writing and more particularly to TV series. They signed two series in Belgium (Septième Ciel Belgique, A tort ou à raison) and cut their teeth in France. For the past few years, they have been trying their hand at the cinema,
collaborating for example with Tonie Marshall and Josée Dayan. Ever since she became a mother,
Sophie has naturally taken an interest in children's fiction.
Sandrine Revel was born in Bordeaux, a city she has never left. Immediately after her studies at Bordeaux Fine Arts School - where she obtained her diploma with honors - she produced her very
first comic book album, which brought her into the world of publishing. Shared between children's
illustration and comics, she has produced around twenty albums since 1995, mixing genres, styles
and graphic techniques. She also does a lot of illustration work for the press, for example for Sud
Ouest and Milan Presse. The original idea of A Funny Guardian Angel was born from one of these
works. In 2001, this series receives the Alph-Art 7-8 years old in Angouleme.
