My White Dove

Content : 1937, the bombing of Guernica.

Paloma and her parents left Spain because of the civil war. But in Paris too, people talk about the dictator Franco, especially since he bombed the city of Guernica. During a demonstration for peace, the girl finds a wounded dove. While her father builds a cage, she cares for the bird. Paloma takes it everywhere, even at the museum, nested on her shoulder.
During a walk, she talks to a man interested in her dove. She will understand later, when discovering her bird in the Guernica painting at the Paris World Fair, that the man was Pablo Picasso.
