I Am the Earth

I Am the Earth offers a poetic journey into the heart of life. From the seed buried in the soil to the sky that embraces the world, this awakening picture book unfolds a poetic chain where every living element is connected. The earth nourishes the insect, the insect meets the grass, the grass grows at the foot of the tree, the tree shelters the bird… all leading back to the Earth, the source of all life.

The circular, gentle, and reassuring text invites children to discover the world as a harmonious whole, where they have their place. Built on a simple, musical repetition (‘I am…’), the text establishes a rhythm close to a nursery rhyme, making it easy to read aloud and capturing children’s attention while supporting early language development. Each phrase highlights the natural connections between elements, intuitively and peacefully showing the interdependence of life.
