Rattle the grasshopper plays the xylophone, Stradi the butterfly the violin. It is a big day for the two friends! They are taking part in the most select competition, the Grand Orchestra of the Insects.
But nothing goes according to plan! Traditions die hard and they cannot play their favourite instrument. So what if Rattle and Stradi disguised themselves?

About the author:
After studying musicology, Christelle Saquet turned to teaching. A nursery school teacher since 2002, she created the character of ‘Grafi’ to teach her pupils about graphic design. This idea gave rise to her first album, Grafi s'amuse. Soon, to her great delight, her two passions - music and writing - came together in the CD-book Ticajou et sa famille de musiciens. Humour and reverie are never far from this passionate writer's pen.

About the illustrator:
Rémi Saillard studied at the decorative Art school in Strasbourg. His scratch card illustrations are highly graphic and enhanced by superb colouring. By turns shrouded in mystery or tenderness, his images are spellbinding.
