Who Stole the Soup?

Content : Today is Soup Day! All the villagers are gathered around the table for a festive feast, but three little kittens are looking rather glum. Suddenly, loud BOOM BOOMs make the ground shake, and thick smoke billows out of the woods, spreading around the big dinner table. In a panic, the cats run for cover. When everything finally stops, the soup has disappeared!
The three little kittens are overjoyed, but they soon notice how sad their parents and friends are. To them, the soup was a chance to come together and share a happy moment. So, the three kittens decide to investigate and track down the soup thief.

A story that combines mystery, investigation and friendship, in a picture book that celebrates the values of solidarity, mutual support, cooperation and togetherness.

About the author: Céline Claire lives in Moselle, France. She was originally a teacher, but has devoted herself entirely to writing for children since 2006. This is her fourth book published with L’Elan Vert.

About the illustrator: Mylène Rigaudie lives with her family in a small village in the Lot region of France, where she illustrates books for a wide range of publishers, including Casterman, Nathan, Milan and Lito.
