Content : Why is Mr. Pic so mean? The lonely old man, seems to hate the whole world. What does it hide?
Mr. Pic is the story of an old man who withdrew into himself in order not to be hurt again. But sometimes you just need a little knock on the door to change everything.
A beautiful story where love and friendship heal childhood wounds.

The illustrations by Stéphanie Léon have a nice “Halloween” atmosphere.

Olivier Pog came to writing through songwriting and after applied Arts studies. He writes children’s picture books, but is interested also in other media. He draws his inspiration from children themselves – for whom he organizes events in libraries – little things from life, comics, cinema… He lives and works in Brittany. With Des Ronds dans l’O, he published The Tokela Fox, illustrated by Marianne Alexander and nominated for the Incorruptibles awards in 2019.

Stéphanie Léon was born in 1975 in an old dusty trunk in an attic. The imaginary of this remarkable illustrator was nourished by shadows and old-fashioned things. All the old rags and ghosts in flowery sheets reappear today in her drawings and come haunt postcards, children's books and novel covers for the readers' delight. She is the illustrator of A Kingdom, also with Olivier Pog and published by Des Ronds dans l’O.
